Our mission at The Good Society is to create a sense of community around great beer. That means many things to us. We want to create a space where all members of our community feel welcome and respected. We want our Public and Barrel Houses to be a safe gathering spot where friends, families and neighbors can start or strengthen their connection to one another – all while enjoying a pint of delicious brew. But we don’t intend to stop there. We know that a lot of our friends and neighbors, including Mother Earth, may not be able to pull up a chair for a pint, but need our support and community, nonetheless. So each month we will support a cause that generates positive social or environmental impact in our world. Helping to create a good society…that’s what being a part of community means to us. Here’s how it works: Each year we will identify and evaluate local non-profits doing great work in our community and beyond. When we can, we will align the cause with an awareness month, though this may not always be possible. These organizations will be contacted in advance of being supported, offering them agency in the decision to partner with The Good Society. Those organizations that agree will: So drink up and help us give back! Fine Print: The Good Society is not currently accepting requests for product donations. Questions or ideas? Contact us using this form and select “Charities & Giving.” The Good Society, in their sole discretion, may select any 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization to support for the coming period, or longer should they choose, and may restrict support to said organization at any time and/or for any reason. Since opening in February of 2020, and as of 4/1/2025, we have given over $47,200 back to our community by supporting our partners and it is because YOU support us. Let’s keep it going! Pink Boots Society aims to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education. More about Pink Boots Society: We are the movers and shakers in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry. We make fermented and alcoholic beverages with the highest possible quality. We are the women and non-binary individuals that own the companies, package the product, design the labels, serve the drinks, write about our industry – and just about everything in between. Most importantly, we teach each other what we know through our own seminar programs, and we help each other advance both front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house careers by raising money for educational scholarships. The Good Society would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People, past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.Together Is Better
